Trustee Training Overview

We appreciate that trustees are required to have a good understanding of their role and responsibilities. There are many sources of information available, and we have provided this training section to supplement these sources - with a particular focus on management of risk within the pensions environment.

This section provides a perspective on many of the areas outlined in the Pensions Regulator's Trustee Knowledge and Understanding Scope Guidance as it relates to a buyout decision or other means of pension risk transfer from the viewpoint of an insurance company.

Since there are many levels of knowledge and experience of trustees, we have arranged these areas based on topic, rather than level of understanding.
