Pensioners

As a policyholder of MetLife Assurance, some or all of your pension benefit has been secured through the purchase of an annuity with a UK insurance company regulated by the Financial Services Authority.

This means that MetLife Assurance has assumed responsibility for payment of your pension (as notified to us by the trustees of your pensions scheme) from the trustees of your pension scheme and will continue to make these payments for your lifetime and cover any benefits due to certain qualifying dependants.

We understand that financial security is a key concern for you during your retirement and so to assist with any questions you may have, we have put together some relevant FAQs.

Through our customer service team, MetLife Assurance is dedicated to delivering a high level of service and customer care. We have provided contact details for this team should you have any enquiries about the benefits you are receiving or have any suggestions on how we could improve our service.

You will also find links to other useful information and forms that may help you on your journey through retirement. MetLife Assurance's ability to offer financial security is one of our greatest strengths. We are committed to safeguarding your benefits and ensuring that you are kept up to date with any changes as they occur.
